How To Make Lumpia - Philippine Spring Rolls

http://mercifulg.blogspot.com/ Step by step instructions on how to make the Filipino lumpia or loompia mixed with western ingredients. Gather your family or friends and have fun rolling the lumpia, spring rolls. You can substitute pork with ground beef, ground turkey, or chicken.  Add mushrooms, carrots, celery tops are optional, plenty of green onions, chopped shrimps,  fresh shrimps preferably. Wrappers -25 pieces, tbsp of soy sauce, ground black pepper, freshly ground better, pepper flakes if you like them hot, seasoning salt, with this video I used the Lawry's which is optional.  Do you have chicken bouillon?  That works perfect too! Have you heard of Mama Sita seasoning?  It comes in a packet that you may use also to simplify the cooking.  Don't forget you need cooking oil. I was told you can bake them. I fried few pieces in the pan but deep fryer works great. There are many ways you can make lumpia and the fillings are your choices but lumpia is Philippine specialty, so it has to be the real meat. You may want to cook the ingredients and drain the fat before wrapping them. This helps reduce the fat or the liquid from all the ingredients. Then wrap, cook and serve. Please don't forget the sauce.
