Normally, the seasonings are for soup but I like them plain with the fried pork. The seasoning is worth the money when you buy them in any Oriental store or International grocery stores. Great for soup and of course, great for my fried pork too! Try it on broiled meat and not just fried. It is healthier after all.

Ingredients:
1 lb Pork Seasoning - strips of pork
3 cloves of garlic - crushed
1/4 cup of onion -sliced
1 inch fresh ginger - crushed or sliced.
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 packet of Knorr or Mama Sita's Tamarind Soup mix
How To Cook Fried Pork or Pritong Baboy with Tamarind Seasonings
Directions:
1. Heat the frying pan - 375 degrees2. Fry the garlic, onion and ginger.
3. Remove and discard the garlic, onion and ginger once browned.
4. Carefully place the pork in the frying pan. Cover as oil might splatter.
5. Season with the Tamarind soup mix. I put about 1-2 tbsp on each side.
6.Turn the heat to low,about 225 heat cook for additional 5-10 minutes, keep turning each side as it turns brown.
7. Serve hot with rice and hot sauce if you prefer.
