How To Make Filipino Leche Flan

Very rich and creamy dessert made with very few ingredients such as eggs blended with evaporated and condensed milk, steamed with special caramel sauce, cool and serve. On this video, I cooked the flan the traditional way using the wok less the lanera molder but special molder perfect for fall season. Dish is normally served as topping with the "halo-halo" or just by itself.
Famous Philippine Leche Flan Desserts
Dozen of eggs, 1/2 can of condensed milk, 1 can of evaporated milk
tbsp of lemon juice, 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup water, 1 cup of pure cane sugar, pinch of ground ginger

One egg has twin, so it became lucky 13 yolks
Blend all the ingredients except egg yolks without the whites. Except caramel ingredients also.
Cook the caramel syrup by simmering the sugar, water, pinch of ground ginger and tbsp of lemon. Wait until melted and golden brown.
I chosen the evaporated low fat 2% milk. Little thing helps.
Cook by Steam.
110 calories per 2 tbsp of condensed milk. Yep, it's a rich dessert.
