How to cook chicken noodle soup or the Filipino Sopas


http://mercifulg.blogspot.com/  Filipino famous soup. I love this simple and easy to make soup besides being low in fat, low sodium and tasty it helps me when I have the cold or worst the flu. Inexpensive meal. Easy to find ingredients cook until the pasta are soft and soup is creamy and when it's ready, serve with some rolls, crackers or toasts. Topped with scallions or green onions. Try it and learn how to make your own soup.Soup for the winter or any day. Made with shell and sphagetti pastas. Low fat, low sodium, yet delicious. Inexpensive meal as ingredients I used were from Kraft Macaroni and Cheese box, and few sphagetti strands saute with two strips of chicken breast, canned broth and dry chicken seasoning, with littel bokchoy, carrots and few mushrooms, let it cook to al dente and it's ready.  Great when topped with scallions or green onions.

Ingredients:

4 oz chicken breast strips - sliced and diced1 cup scallop noodles, 1/2 cup sphagetti (brk to 3 inches)
1 clove garlic,1/4 cup onions
1 carrot - peeled, chopped into tiny pieces
2 buttons -mushrooms- chopped and diced
celery tops, cut into 3 inches
1/2 cup of bokchoy, cut into tiny pieces.
1 cup low-fat milk, 4 cups of water
1 tbsp fish sauce2 tbsp olive oil
freshly ground pepper
1 can of chicken broth -fat free
1 packet of chicken seasoning
2 green onions stalk - sliced to quarter inches
Lemon granules - optional
