Peppery Chicken

 

Ingredients


1/2 lb chicken breast strips - slice to bite size
2 inches of turkey smoked sausage - slice to bite size
2 cloves garlic - crush then finely chop
1/2 of small yellow onions - chop in quarters
1/2 cup of mixed red and green bell peppers
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
1 chicken bouillon seasoning -
1/2 cup water
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 stalk of green onion - chopped finely

Instructions




1.  Heat the pan to medium heat, once hot.
2.  Place oil in the pan.
3.  Saute the garlic, followed by yellow onions.
4.  Add the sliced turkey sausage, stir and cook for 1-2 minute.
5.  Turn the heat settings above medium heat but not too high.
6.  Add the sliced chicken strips and cook for about 4 minutes or until all colors are off-pink.
7.  Sprinkle the chicken bouillong seasoning, then add the bell peppers and the red pepper flakes.
8.  Add the ground pepper. Stir.
9.  Add the rice wine vinegar.
10. Add the 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil.
11.  Turn the heat back to medium heat and add the fish sauce. cook for additional 1-2 minutes or until chicken are done. 165 degrees.
13.  Serve over hot rice and topped with the chopped green onions.
