Pan Fried Steak with Portabella Mushrooms

Pan Fried Steak with Baby Bella Mushrooms How to cook pan fried steak with baby bella mushrooms and spring onions on the side. Four oz of steak, seasoned with my favorite steak seasonings, fried in sizzling hot pan then seasoned with garlic. Added some of my home made hot chili oil,  dash of ground pepper, some soy sauce, red pepper flakes and wow! I have my steak ready in less than 10 minutes,  On this video I cooked and served with half of sweet potato, topped with some butter, brown sugar and ground cinnamon which I cooked via microwave for few minutes. You can serve with  baked potatoes or fries or fried riceVery quick meal to cook and turned out tasty with the same ingredients I used on my other recipes that you will find on this site.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 7-10 minutes
How many servings: 1

Ingredients:
4 oz steak - I bought top loin worth $2.00 for .70 oz - Season with steak seasoning
1 clove garlic - crushed
3 spring onions - chopped one inch
4 buttons of Baby Bella mushrooms - chopped into 4 quarters
1 tsp of my hot chili sauce or 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes (more if you want)
Freshly ground pepper
Steak seasoning -your choice
2 tbsp cooking oil - olive oil or canola
1/4 tsp of soy sauce

Directions:
1. Turn burner on to 375 degree heat and set the frying pan on top.
2. Put oil in the pan and once hot, drop the garlic, fry and stir - remove after it turned brown.  I just want the flavor of garlic in the pan.
3. Drop the steak and fry two minutes on each side.  Hear the sizzle?  Smells good too.
4. Push the steak on the side of the pan . Fry the green onions and mushrooms on the side for 30 seconds
5. Add the hot chili sauce. Stir for few seconds
6. Add the soy sauce and freshly ground pepper. Stir.
7. Serve the steak on one side of the plate and serve the mushrooms and onions on one side.

For additional side dish

Ingredients:
1 Sweet potato
2 tsp of dark brown sugar
2 tsp of butter
Dash of ground cinnamon

How to cook the sweet potato:
Microwave for 2 minutes, add 1 more minute if necessary.
Slice, add the butter, top with brown sugar. Slice the middle so the sugar and butter penetrate the potato.
Sprinkle the cinnamon.

Since it's for my only serving, I served just half for me.
I finished the cooking, eating and watched the end of tonight's Voice episode. That's what I call multi-tasking!

Tip: Clean as you go not eat as you go. Actually, drink wine as you go, no? Watch TV as you go? Surf as you go. That's it! I love my the dishwasher, the simple oven, that TV, and that running water, paper towels to clean-up and Clorox to sanitize. Enjoy what you do and eat what you love.  Love to live, live to love.
