After sending my input to one of Progresso's product, I received some coupons as complements and one of their products is the Crispy Bread crumbs called Panko.The picture on the product looks enticing, so I will try them with my shrimps rather than fish. .... True Definition of panko
MercifulG's Knock-Out Bread Shrimp ( Panko Shrimp)
Ingredients:
4 Jumbo shrimps = 1/2 lb jumbo shrimp -
1/4 cup stone ground cornmeal
Salt and freshly ground pepper1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp Cooking oil- Olive or Canola oil
Dash of Nori Komi Furikake Rice Seasoning (optional) try to locate in Oriental or International grocery stores
Directions:
1. Mix the cornmeal, salt, ground pepper and dash of Nori komi Furikake Rice Seasoning.
2. Coat the clean and deveined shrimps with stone ground cornmeal mix.3. Dip in beaten egg.
4. Coat with Panko bread crumbs.
5. Heat oil over medium heat.
6. Place the non-stick pan.
7. Place the shrimps in the hot pan 2-4 minutes on each side or until brown.
8. Drain in paper towel.
Ingredients:
2 small Potatoes - I prefer the red ones. - Cut into quarters1 tbsp cooking oil
Dash of Italian seasoning
Dash of Steak seasoning
Dash of Lawry's seasoned salt
Directions:
1. Heat oil over medium heat.2. Drop the potatoes.
3. Sprinkle with Italian seasonings.
4. Sprinkle with steak seasonings, and dash of salt and pepper.
5. Fry until brown. Tip: Turn the heat settings to low or 225 degree heat and cook until well done.
