How to cook Turkey Chopsuey and Turkey steak

                                                                          Turkey Chopsuey

Eat something healthy today. Try my Filipino version of chopsuey but made with few slices of turkey breast meat and serve along with turkey cutlets, cooked like a regular steak.

Ingredients:

Sliced turkey breast (cutlets)  8 oz.
1/2 cup shrimps
1 clove garlic
1/4 quarter onions - sliced
1/4 cup carrots - sliced
1/4 cup celery, green beans, bella mushrooms
-sliced
1/4 cup brocolli
1/4 cup red or green bell peppers
1/2 cup bokchoy -sliced
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp fish sauce
Steak seasoning
1/4 cup bamboo shoots (canned
works)
1/4 cup baby corn ( cut into bite
size)
1-2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in
small amount of chicken
broth
1 tbsp cooking oil.


Cooking Instructions:

1. Heat the pan to mid heat. Fry the garlic
and onion on 1tbsp oil.
2. Add the sliced turkey cutlets and stir.
3. Add the shrimps.
4. Move the meat to the side once they are off-pink color.
5. Add the vegetables.. carrots, celery, green beans, bokchoy stalks, mushrooms, bell peppers. Stir.
6. Add the  the bamboo shoots, then the baby corns.
7. Add the cup of chicken broth, stir.  
8. Turn the heat way up to quickly cook the veggies.
9. Make a hole in the middle.
10.Once liquid are bubbling, add the dissolved cornstarch.
11.  Add salt, pepper and the steak seasoning.
12.  Add 1/4 tsp of fish sauce.
13. Stir and serve hot.  You may serve over the rice.

Steak Turkey Cutlet

1.  Season with salt, pepper and steak seasoning.
2.  Fry on medium to high heat.
3.  Cook for about 5 minutes each side.
4.  Serve hot.
